These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fidus Key website, products and services, provided by Fidus Key LLC, 4514 Mission Street, Suite 210, San Francisco, CA 94112, USA. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change. An order is accepted when we send a confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including suspected fraudulent orders, in which case any payment received will be refunded in full.
We ship worldwide from our San Francisco facility with tracking on every order. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to the carrier upon dispatch; contact us within 14 days of the estimated delivery date if an order has not arrived.
Unopened devices may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. Opened devices are covered by a two-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, beginning on the delivery date. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modification, or unauthorized repair. Warranty service is provided by repair or replacement at our discretion.
Fidus Key products are self-custody tools. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your recovery phrase, PIN and device. We cannot recover lost phrases, reset forgotten PINs, or restore access to funds. Never share your recovery phrase with anyone, including anyone claiming to be Fidus Key support. We will never ask for it.
Firmware updates are provided free of charge for the life of supported devices. The companion application is provided "as is" for the purpose of preparing and reviewing transactions. You are responsible for verifying every transaction on the device display before approving it.
You may not reverse engineer, modify, or resell our firmware or software except as permitted by law; use our products or services for unlawful activity; or misrepresent the origin or functionality of our products.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fidus Key LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of cryptocurrency, arising from your use of our products or website, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product or service.
Our website and products are provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated in these Terms, except as required by law. Nothing on this website is financial advice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. Continued use of our website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
